Hello.
I hope this is the correct place to ask.
I have a large number of homefolders for our users and these homefolders have the same name as the related username, but the administrator don't have access to all the files and filders within all of the homefolders. Now I want to move these homefolders and group them by name, so I want all folders which begins with the letter A through M to be grouped in a "A-M" folder and all folders starting with N through Z grouped in a "N-Z" folder.
Now I can't find a way to do this easily. Robocopy lets me bypass the Security filtering, but it won't let me specify the Source folders with something like "a*" and the PowerShell cmdlet "move-item" allows me to specify source fodlers with wildcards, but it can't bypass the Security filtering.
Could anyone please help me out here?
