OS Server 2003 Std Edition
Version SP2
System/Processor x86 family
Part 1) EventViewer is full of Event 333 which excatly matches description & solution given inhttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/970054 but I dont see VSS related Events in logs, which I find strange.
Part 2) TSM error logs (please see below)

I checked on forums & found http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=663&uid=swg21242128 ANDhttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/940349?wa=wsignin1.0
My questions are;
Q1. Referring to part 1, should I install that available hotfix? Will I be correct in my assumption that the only thing it will do is clear/maintain system logs?
Q2. Referring to part 2, is there a known cause for this failure? Apart from what's on M$ & IBM site, is there any other fix which doesn’t involve server reboot?
Q3. Am I on the right track in isolating the issue & finding correct links?
Thanks in advance.
