My company has 2 servers. One server (Server1) is running Server 2008 Standard & the other (Server2) is running Server 2008 R2 Standard. Both servers have been working great until I implemented DFS last week. DFS seemed to be working great for the first couple of days. Now Server1 keeps rebooting every 15 to 20 minutes. If I disable the DFS Replication service, the server runs fine. I checked the Minidumps with a program called BlueScreenView & it shows the following information for each dump:
Bug Check String: NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM
Bug Check Code: 0x00000024
Caused By Driver: Ntfs.sys
Address In Stack: Ntfs.sys+2010e
Crash Address: ntoskrnl.exe+57ad0
I have ran chkdsk /r on both my OS drive & the Data drive. I've also ran SFC. Both have reportedly fixed & repaired files but it hasn't effected the reboots. I've also tried lowering the bandwidth used under scheduling.
The other server (Server2) is running fine & hasn't had any DFS issues or crashes.
Any suggestions?
