I have a remote office that is no longer able to access our DFS share in the main office. When they try to connect to the DFS share they are getting the error "configuration information could not be read from the domain controller, either the machine is
unavailable, or access has been denied". The remote office has their own DC which was recently changed to a new DC. The issue seemed to start once the remote office got the new DC. Anyhow, I've tested the DFS share from the remote office's file server and
it is able to access the DFS share. Only the client systems are not able to get to the DFS share. When I run dfsutil from one of the client systems, It is only seeing the network share (ie, \\server\test) and not the DFS share (ie, \\test.com\test). For the
time being, I've mapped the users to the network share. Any ideas???
