I have a server 2003 R2 with Google drive application installed.
The google drive service syncs all my files to a local folder on the server.
Problem is that with files that are synced from the cloud the NTFS permissions are not inherited.
Only administrators and the account from google drive still have rights although the "users" group is set to the parent folder.
When i manually create a new file in that folder, the permissions are correctly inherited to the files.
So it looks like the google drive application uses another way to save the files on the disk.
It's only with files not with folders.
anyone the same problem => solution?
