Destination Folder Access Denied - when trying to copy a file

OK I'm frustrated.

I have a Windows 2008 server (not R2). I created a new folder on the J: drive.

I want to copy one EXE file over to and it will not let me it says:

"Destination Folder Acces Denied

You need permission to perform this action."

My domain account has FULL CONTROL over the new folder.

I have taken OWNERSHIP of the new folder.

I have FULL CONTROL over the file.

I have taken OWNERSHIP of the file.

UAC is completely turned off.

What is going on!??!?!?!
