Hello!
I have a Win2003R2 SP2 server and a NAS storage.
I am trying to backup data ( the backup is rather big ~ 700GB)
The log reports:
Error: The device reported an error on a request to write data to media.
Error reported: Unknown error. There may be a hardware or media problem.
Please check the system event log for relevant failures.
The operation was ended.
Backup completed on 26.11.2011 at 14:29.
Directories: 10667 Files: 94699
Bytes: 379 279 884 707
Time: 21 hours, 22 minutes, and 2 seconds
Error: E: is not a valid drive, or you do not have access.

The operation did not successfully complete.
System log reports:
End Backup of 'E:' 'Warnings or errors were encountered.' Verify: Off Mode: Replace Type: Normal Consult the backup report for more details. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
I have access. I've tried changing network cables, network cards and switches.
There are no other backups running at that moment.
The weirdest thing is that sometimes backup goes through like a charm, and sometimes it does not..
Please advice.
