Move DFS shares to new drive

Hi,

We have 2 windows server 2003 R2 DFS setup. Since DFS share hosted on a drive is fastly filling up, planning to move it to the different folder on the same server. Here are the tasks i'm planning to do. I have some basic queries regarding this and can any experts help please.. I have read few articles too about pre-seeding but i need lil more detailed ideas before i test it.

Using Robocopy move the files from one drive to other drive. -> I see a blog about using /mir switches and root folder should be identical. My root folder (s:\files\) containg all the DFS shares and doesnt have any permissions other than default. So,if I can create a new (I:\files) folder in the new drive and amend the permissions as above will that be sufficient? Also,I'm planning to use "robocopy source destination /sec /e /b /v" is this enough?

Delete the folder target = > is it necessary? The reason I ask is, if i dont delete the folder target then I cant get the same namespace structure. which users are aware of. Also I cant add a another shared folder target with the same name.

Stop the file sharing on old share

Delete the replication schedule- I'm guessing this is needed because,I dont have an option to change the replication folder path from old drive to new drive.

Share the new folder on other drive

Re-create the folder target

Re-create the replication between these 2 file servers as it was.

I'm aware that i need to do the tasks of copying and stop sharing and start sharing of folders in both file servers.

Can any experts help please..Thanks a lot for your time in this..
