We are having horrendous problems with regards opening files on our network share, when users try to 'File open or 'save as' files the system seems to hang for about 30 seconds and then the whole network is enumerated, we have tried various fixes but nothing has worked.
Within office i have set the users default file location to be the 'D:' drive file share but when they click the drop down box it hangs.
We have added the following reg key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\NonEnum]
"{F02C1A0D-BE21-4350-88B0-7367FC96EF3C}"=dword:00000001; but it hasnt helped
Can anyone help as this is extremely frustrating for our users and their perception of the systems are that they are not very good, yet our servers are sitting with loads of resources available?
