Hi all,
Server 2003 r2
I herited a formally outsourced file infrastructure and to say it is in bad need of house keeping is a gross understatement!!
So I need to start at the start and audit all folders and files in begining at the root which contains over 800 items :(
I have tried treesize to give me details on what is in there and when it was last acessed and last edited but treesize will only give me details to the folder level and I want details to the file leve.
I want to move everything that is untouched for 2 years or more into an archive but working at a folder level is not detaled enough as if some users access files using short cuts then the folders may not have been accessed two levels up but the file two folders down has been.
So do you guys n gals have any suggestions on good software that can give file types and last accessed details as well as the complete path.
