Dell PowerVault NX3100
Server 2008R2
24G ram

PERC H700 - 12x3TB hdd - COnfigured as Raid 6 with 1 hot spare 25TB

PERC H800 - attached to 4 MD1200's with 12x3TB HDD configured as Raid 6 with 1 hot spare/shelf so 25TB/Shelf

Two volumes created in windows

Smalldata 25TB on the H700
Bigdata 100TB striped volume with the 4 'drives' attached to the H800

When I enable shadow copies everything works just fine on Smalldata but it fails on Bigdata

(Is there a size limit on a shadow copy enabled volume? It does work fine when I create a striped volume of 50TB by using only two of the MD1200's)

 The error messages:

Failed to Create a shadow copy of volume F:\

Error 0x80042306: The shadow copy provider had an error. Check the System and Applicaton event logs for more information

No errors appear in the System log : This is the error in the Applicaton log
