Hi

i have some linux and unix machines and a windows fileserver. now i want to use the file server for file exchange between the machines. for these situation is installed the role "Fileservice" with the feature "Service for NFS-Tools". I created a folder on the NTFS Filesysten and a SMB/NFS share now i have access to the folder from all machines and can put some Files. But the rights of the files are not correct.

So if i put a file from the linux/unix machine to the fileserver then the file have rights like this

only the SYSTEM and lokal Administrators have access to the File. But i need also the Domain Users to access this files just in Time.if i put a file from a windows machine the file has rights for Domain Users.

At the Moment i have to workarouds:

1. a Task that reset the File Permissions all the time
2. put the user to the lokal Administrators group.

both way are not pretty and only workarouds.

Information:

Fileserver: Windows 2008 R2
DC: Windows 2003

thank you for Help.

Regard

Markus
