Hi,
I have a file server that is used intensively by other servers (application servers).
Under the file sharing monitoring, I see that each session is limited to 50 file accessed simultaneously under heavy load (well not so heavy...).
I started tuning the registry of the file server with parameters like MaxMpxCt.
In the Samba negotiation header, I see that the max files negotiated is the one configured, not 50. However in the file sharing monitoring, it is still limited to 50!
- I've read about such a bug with Windows 2000 (MaxMpxCt ignored), but not for Windows 2003. Did you heard about that bug ?
- The Samba negotiation header shows that "Raw mode" is enabled, and "Mpx mode" is disabled. I'm not sure if MaxMpxCt is relevant as Mpx is disabled... But I also configured MinRawConnections and MaxRawConnections without success.
Thank you so much for your help, even simple leads...
Regards, Matthias
