Hi,
We have some systems that generates files to a share which is included in a DFS share (For example scanned from a scanner or generated from a webpage).
When the system generates the files it saves it at \\fileserver.domain.local\appshare$\SomeFolder\. Users browse it at \\domain\dfsroot\appshare\SomeFolder\
When the file get generated, sometimes it dosnt show up when browsing through the DFS share. All other files are there, but this new generated file is not. There can then go from 5-60 minutes or even longer and then the file shows up. It is not everytime this happens. Most of the time it is there instantly.
We have some terminal servers, where when it happens, you might see the file from one server but not a second one.
I have a feeling that this has something to do with some kind of caching in either DFS or on the Terminal Servers? But i cant find any settings to change (ARGH!!!)
The environment is Server 2008 R2 / Windows 7. Domain level = 2008R2. There is no synchronization in the DFS and only one server.
Any clues regarding this? This
