We're deploying FCI here to allow users to classify their data for retention and discovery.
File servers are 2012 standard.
I'd like the ability for owners to manually set FCI properties (we've enabled "Retention Period" and "Retention Start Date" in AD).
But it seems out of the box that only users in the Administrators group on the file server can set Classification properties. When a non-admin tries to set a Classification property they get an "Access is denied. (0x8007005)" error.
My non-admin account is the owner on the file and has full permissions.
If I add my non-admin account to the administrators group on the file server then I'm able to set the Classification properties.
Is this possible?
