Deleting a corrupted or unreadable file

Good Morning,

We have been seeing an issue with one of our file servers.
Receiving numerous event log errors for ntfs:
Event Type:    Error
Event Source:    Ntfs
Event Category:    Disk
Event ID:    55
Date:        1/10/2013
Time:        9:12:32 AM
User:        N/A
Computer:    KMHPUSERPA30
Description:
The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume NEWUSER3a.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
Data:
0000: 00 00 04 00 02 00 52 00   ......R.
0008: 02 00 00 00 37 00 04 c0   ....7..À
0010: 00 00 00 00 02 01 00 c0   .......À

0020: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00   ........
0028: 81 01 22 00               .".

This is usually followed by an Application Popup error stating that one particular file is corrupt or unreadable and to run a chkdsk.  The file resides on a volume that is 657GB and we cannot dedicate the time to have this volume locked to do a chkdsk.
I have tried to delete the file using Windows Explorer and from the command line, but each time it returns a message "The file cannot be deleted because it is corruptable or unreadable

Here are the specifics:

Server: Windows 2003 R2 Enterprise x64
Data: Remote Storage on an EMC Symettrix.
Connectivity: Server has Dual Path HBAs and is using fiber connectivity.
SAN Admin has validated that there are no issues on the disk.

My question is this:  Does anyone know of a way to delete this file or if there is a way to run a chkdsk (or something similar) on a single file?

Thank You

Brian Dougherty
