We have a few branch offices. Each branch has a single RODC. We use DFS and have a target in the main office as well as the branch RODC. The branch clients sucessfully logon locally to the RODC and their DFS target sucessfully directs them to use their
local target for files. The problem was noticed when the internet connection failed and the connection to the main office was unavailable. Suddenly the branch users could not access their local targets until the internet was restored. I'm guessing that when
they try to access a DFS share, it's going to the main office AD to get the referral. How can this be corrected so that they can still access their files even if the link goes down? These are all 2008 R2 servers. -Thanks
